If your garden is a priority in your life, then you are ready for the       Museum Sculpture Garden The Sculpture Garden in the Museum of Fine Arts has returned to it's all white and green palette with a mixture of trees, shrubs and perennials. Our "before" picture shows mainly liriope, a plam and bird of paradise. The "after" picture shows a much more varied mix of plants. We've kept a small group of liriope and transplanted the palm (which we believe is Chamaedorea seifrizii, or bamboo palm). Directly behind the sculpture are several Codeaium eburnum, a croton with white and green mottled foliage which has done well for us in the shade. Behind the crotons are native wild coffee (Psychotria nervosa) and the tall shrub in the corner is native myrsine (Rapanea guianensis). The Chinese marble elephant is peering over Milky Way cast-iron plants which stay 12" tall and have speckled foliage. The ground cover in front of the statue is the aluminum plant, Pilea cadieri, which has wonderfully striped green and white foliage.
